Emergency Accommodation
If you are fleeing an abusive relationship, we can offer temporary accommodation for you, your children and young people.
Our refuge provides emergency temporary accommodation for women, children and young people fleeing domestic violence.
It is a safe place where women can have time and space to make decisions about their futures and our specialist refuge staff are on hand to provide one-to-one emotional and practical support.
We can provide accommodation for up to six families and each family will have their own bedroom and access to a kitchen. We have a comfortable communal living room, a spacious playroom and secure outdoor play area for children.
You can refer yourself to refuge directly by contacting our Resource Centre 028 8224 1414 during office hours or through the 24 Hour Domestic & Sexual Violence Helpline: 0808 802 1414 in the evenings and weekends.
Some women are referred to refuge by a range of agencies such as the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the PSNI and Social Services.
You and your children can stay in refuge for as long as you need. Some women only stay a few days, others stay for a longer period of time while they wait to be re-housed.
