Gift Aid
We’re truly grateful for all donations, including those made anonymously. However, if you’re a UK taxpayer and your donation comes from taxed income, we encourage you to complete a Gift Aid Declaration. This enables us to claim an extra 28p from the government for every £1 you give – at no extra cost to you – making your generosity go even further.
Additionally, if you donate to charity and pay UK tax, you might also be eligible to reclaim some tax yourself
Remembering us in your Will
By including a gift to Omagh Women’s Aid in your will, you can play a crucial role in transforming the lives of women and children who turn to us for safety, support, and hope each year. Every legacy gift, no matter the size, makes a lasting difference and helps us continue our essential services well into the future.
Leaving a gift in your will is one of the most meaningful and impactful ways to support the work we do. Creating a will is a significant decision – one that ensures your loved ones are looked after and your wishes are respected. It also gives you the opportunity to reflect on the causes that matter most to you and consider leaving a legacy that extends beyond your lifetime.
It’s also worth noting that charitable gifts in wills are exempt from inheritance tax, which may help reduce the overall tax burden on your estate. We recommend speaking with a solicitor to receive the right legal advice tailored to your circumstances. And if you’ve already made a will, it’s easy to update it at any time to include a charitable gift.
