If you are concerned that someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, it’s important to know that support is available. Referrals to Omagh Women’s Aid are welcome from a variety of sources – not only from women seeking help themselves, but also from friends, family members, the 24-hour Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline, statutory agencies, and voluntary or community-based organisations.

If you are referring someone to our service, please be aware that you must first obtain their permission. It is essential that the person being referred is aware of and agrees to the referral, and that they have given clear consent for their personal information to be shared with us. Respecting their autonomy and privacy is vital in ensuring that any support offered is both safe and appropriate.
